May 2008John is proud to host the very first “Norfolk Trumpet Day” on the 15th of October 2008 in Norwich, England. The special guest for both the workshop/masterclass and evening concert will be John Foster (International Trumpet Soloist and member of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra) and the event will be hosted by John and the Norfolk Music Education Service. It should be a great day for all and a rare chance to hear one of the worlds leading Trumpet players. Please get in touch with John if you would like further information!
May 2008, John is proud to announce that he will be appearing as a featured artist at the International Trumpet Guild Conference 2010 in Sydney, Australia. It's a huge honour and a very exciting moment in my career that I'm really looking forward to! Check out the conference and more.
April 2008, after much success, John's Debut Recording "Sounds of Splendour" will be re-released by the Brass Classics label in London over the next few months. This will be an international release and be available for purchase worldwide. Keep a look out for the new artwork and packaging!
September 2007, John is proud to announce that his next solo album will be recorded and released in 2008 by the London based Music Label "Brass Classics". Check out www.brassclassics.co.uk for more details.
August 2007,John is back in the UK after a very successful tour to Australia during the English Summer. John played recitals in some outback towns in Queensland for the Arts Council including his childhood favourite Millmerran!
December 2006, former international Trumpet Solist and now World reknowned composer Anthony Plog will be writing a new trumpet and organ piece for me to premier and record on a new album in 2007. More details soon!
November 2006, John has recently been in Malaysia for 2 weeks playing concerts with the Fabulous Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra where he had the pleasure of meeting Jon Dante, the new Principal Trumpet of the MPO. A truly wonderful player and a great guy.
